CAD Level 3
Level Three is a two piece set in the key of C from book two in the CAD series called Basslines and Fantasies. The first exercise is based on the famous CAD 8 bar harmonic pattern named, “What’s the answer to my question?”. The second exercise is in the same key as the first and is inspired by my love of the animal guessing game. The fantasy piece here represents an animal called the Crested Porcupine. The music has an interesting rhythmic pulse of 3+3+2 over 8 and a percussive style which represents the pointy aspect of the porcupine!
