TAMAR GREENE

After a year and a half in the Chicago company, Tamar is blessed and ever grateful to continue his run as George Washington on Broadway! BENJAMIN DOANE

A participant in the Perlman Music Program’s ‘littles’ summer course from 2017-2019, Benjamin Doane was accepted into the International Musicians Seminar Prussia Cove in 2018, playing for Steven Isserlis and David Waterman in the spring of 2019.

Ben won third prize in the Senior String Division of the 2019 MTNA National Competition. In 2017 he received second prize in the National Classics Alive Auditions in California.

Ben performed with the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra in 2018. In 2016 he was broadcast on WXXI as winner of the David Hochstein Recital competition. In 2018 Ben received the Aldrige-Tinker Scholarship and the Lowry Award from the Rochester Music Hall of Fame. 

Ben’s formative training took place at KSMA where he studied with Katie Fittipaldi for 6 years. At KMSA Ben was also a member of Alice Kanack’s ‘Tour Group’, traveling to several ASTA string conferences and other music workshops as part of the improvising ensemble. 

Ben studied with parents Steven Doane and Rosemary Elliott from 2012-2019. In 2018 Ben enrolled in the Eastman School of Music’s one year Immersion program where he studied with Guy Johnston. Ben is currently completing his undergraduate degree with Timothy Eddy at The Juilliard School.
