Financial Assistance
The Kanack School is committed to offering scholarships and financial assistance to ensure that no student turns away from music education due to their economic circumstances.
Merit scholarships and financial assistance for is available for lessons, classes, ensembles, and camps. Both merit and financial need are considered when deciding awards.
Please read the following carefully before completing the application.
APPLICATIONS
Applications are accepted continually throughout the year. Submission deadlines can be found below. Financial assistance will be awarded throughout the year provided that funds remain after earlier awards have been given. We encourage our students’ families to communicate with us as soon as possible if their circumstances change.
Merit scholarships are also awarded based on a financial assistance application and we request that applicant students participate in the Annual Concert Auditions. If this is not possible in a given year, participation in Music Hour Recitals may be considered sufficient. Applicants are not required to perform in the Annual Concert to be eligible for merit scholarship.
