Summer 2025!
Make this summer magical at Kanack! Whether your child is picking up an instrument for the first time or honing their skills as a seasoned young musician, our camps are bursting with opportunities to learn, create, and grow! Dive into immersive musical experiences with Suzuki repertoire, chamber music, improvisation, and folk fiddle sessions. But that’s not all—campers also explore storytelling, arts and crafts, chorus, orchestra, and more, all guided by our passionate, energetic teachers who blend expertise with fun!

Summer Camp Information
Camp Hours
Most programs run Monday to Friday except for Week 2 of the Chamber Music and Twinkle & Arts Camps, which will run Sunday to Thursday to account for the holiday on the 4th of July.
All Day Camp: 9 am — 5 pm
Morning Session: 9 am — 12:30 pm
Afternoon Session: 1 pm — 5 pm
The last day of morning programs will end with a short concert at noon. The last day of full-day and afternoon programs will end with a concert at 6 pm.

Camp Descriptions

These camps are designed to have something for everyone from absolute beginners to serious, advanced students! Classes offered will include Suzuki repertoire, improvisation, masterclasses, reading, and music theory. The afternoon consists of daily coached chamber music in small groups, each with a dedicated coach. Each student has a different camp experience tailored to their specific level and experience.
These programs are offered in separate weeks. Students can attend one or multiple weeks! Morning programs conclude with a concert at 12 noon on the last day of camp. Afternoon and Full Day programs end with a concert on the last day at 6 pm.

This camp is perfect for absolute beginners and even students who don’t play an instrument yet. Campers can expect a fun day of arts and crafts, storytelling, theater, and improvisation, all designed to heighten every student’s confidence. This friendly and fun program is centered around Creative Ability Development, where careful and nurturing encouragement of the student’s voice takes center stage.

This camp will feature our own faculty with special guest artists teaching fiddle tunes, traditional style classes, improvisation, folk art, and coaching fiddle bands.
This camp is designed for students of various levels of experience, but we recommend that students have studied up to the end of Suzuki Book 1 or equivalent. No prior fiddle experience is needed for this camp.
The morning program concludes with a concert at noon on Friday. The afternoon and full day programs end with a concert on Friday at 6 pm.

This camp will include music, visual art, movement, theater, storytelling, and more, all designed using our unique Creative Ability Development Method, only at Kanack! Collaborative and individual creative projects will be a primary focus in each class, culminating with special performances at the end of camp. This is a multi-genre camp and is open to all students regardless of their prior musical experience.
